Fitoday Privacy Policy

Updated: October 24, 2026
Developer: Alexander Sergeyevich Khodyrev

Fitoday works without registration. The app stores your plan, workout history, settings and selected photos on your device and does not send them to the developer. This policy describes the version of the app without advertising or built-in analytics.

1. What data is used and why

Questionnaire answers and plan settings: workout focus and difficulty, duration, training days, available equipment and whether to exclude jumps. These are used to create and save a suitable plan.

Workout history: exercises performed, dates, duration, results, difficulty ratings, breaks and achievements. These are used to show progress, calculate your streak and select future workouts.

App settings: appearance, character, exercise display mode, audio cues and reminder time. Your character choice is an appearance setting, not information about your gender.

Photos: only images you choose for a background, launch screen or your own exercises. The app saves a processed copy of the selected image and does not gain access to your entire photo library.

Custom exercises and workouts: names, technique descriptions and timings you enter yourself. These are stored on your device and included in backup files.

The app does not ask for your name, phone number, email address, age, weight, medical records or health sensor data. There is no Fitoday user account.

2. Where data is stored

App data is stored in a local database and app preferences. The developer has no server containing your workout history. This version has no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not automatically send usage statistics or error reports to the developer.

Your operating system may include app data in system backups or transfers to another device, depending on its settings. These copies are managed by the operating system and the relevant service, not by the Fitoday developer.

3. Backup files

You choose when to save or restore a backup through the system file picker. A backup contains your plan, history, settings and selected images, if any. The app does not encrypt the file: store it somewhere you trust and share it only when you choose to.

If you choose cloud storage in the system dialog, that service handles the file under its own terms. Fitoday does not connect a cloud account or perform its own background synchronization.

Before restoring a backup, the app may save one local copy of your previous data so you can undo the import. It is kept until replaced by the next such copy or until all app data is deleted. Information removed from your current settings may remain in earlier backups.

4. Device permissions

Notification permission is used for local workout reminders on your chosen days and at your chosen time. You can turn reminders off in Fitoday or your device settings. Declining notifications does not prevent you from working out.

Access to photos and files is provided through the system picker only for the file you select. The app does not request general access to storage, contacts, location, camera or microphone. Voice cues play bundled recordings and do not record your voice.

5. Retention and deletion

Your plan, history and settings are kept while you use the app, until you change or delete them. Unfinished questionnaire answers are saved locally so you can continue setup later.

In Settings → Delete all data, you can delete local history, your plan, settings, added images and the copy used to undo an import. The app will return to the questionnaire and cancel scheduled reminders. You do not need to contact the developer.

Deleting data in Fitoday does not delete original photos, previously exported files or system backups. Delete those separately using your file manager, photo library or the relevant service settings. Uninstalling the app normally removes its local data through the operating system; a system backup may restore it when the app is reinstalled.

6. Contacting the developer

The developer and responsible person is Alexander Sergeyevich Khodyrev. You can send privacy questions to alexup71rus@gmail.com.

If you contact the developer yourself, the developer receives your address, message and any files you attach. This information is used to review and respond to your request. Do not send history or photos unless they are needed for your question. You may use the same address to request deletion of information you provided in correspondence, except information that must be retained by law.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the handling of data changes. The revision date appears at the start of the document. The current version is available in the app settings. If advertising, analytics or data transfers are introduced in a future version, they will be described in a new policy before that processing begins.
